Brittany and Jarrett wanted something unique for their engagement session, so we decided to bring their love of travel to life with planes.

When Brittany first reached out to me, she had no idea what kind of engagement photos she wanted. With all the wedding planning swirling around her, she felt overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.

During our first chat, I asked Brittany what she and her fiancé, Jarret, loved to do together. Without hesitation, she told me how they’re always traveling whenever they can, and how exploring new places has become a big part of their relationship. That was all I needed to spark a ton of creative ideas!

I suggested incorporating their love for travel into their engagement photos and threw out ideas like a session on a sailboat, train, or even incorporating airplanes. When I mentioned the idea of a plane-themed shoot, Brittany immediately fell in love with the concept!

From there, we got to work! I started searching for the perfect location, and after looking at a few places, I stumbled upon RL Aviation. It couldn’t have been more perfect—the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made the entire experience stress-free.
